Threaded up my bead loom this afternoon to start on the "Mother and Child" necklace. I have two looms - one my Dad made for me and one that a friend passed along recently. I like the new loom because it has a spring on either end that holds the threads in place much better than my loom, but I can't adjust the spacing between the warp threads. I got the entire thing strung and worked the first few rows, but it was just too awkward. I think with practice it would be fine, but it was too distracting for right now. Took everything off and strung my loom, which is always an exercise in frustration because the threads pop out from between the spacers and bunch over/cross up. This is the least fun part of loom beading!
